Hotel Scherer - Salzburg

It made getting to ourvery comfy and tidy room easy. The staff was friendly, particularly Michala, who provided valuable recommendations, although the curtains in the room didn't fully block out the early-morning light.

Extremely nice staff from reception thru breakfast staff to room cleaning personnel. All made me feel myself welcome. Second best ( having very expensive Jaguar car ) was secure parking.And absolutely best was air conditioning in the room.Very nice breakfast in gthe terrace even with salmon ( lachs).....Nice walk along the river to the city and old town. okay buffet breakfast, but (because nice weather) able to eat in on a pleasant outside terrace. Hotel bar price for 0.25l red wine was good. Hotel has a reasonably good location about 10 mins level walk to edge on city centre, and about another 10mins level walk to edge of historic city centre. Free off road parking included.

It was just a balanced option for a day tour in Salzburg with good price value. The air conditioning in my room worked perfectly, keeping me comfortable throughout my stay. Check out the breakfast early to avoid the crowd.

A cute stay in Salzburg

I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the hotel. The breakfast spread was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful, always ready with recommendations. The short walk to both the train station and Mirabell Gardens adds to the allure.

The room felt a bit cramped with limited space for luggage, and the shower pressure left something to be desired. Some noise from neighboring rooms occasionally disrupted my sleep.

Magnificent location and great facilities.

The breakfast buffet was seriously amazing! Fresh breads, meats, and coffee made mornings good. The room was a tad small and cramped 😅

This was a very nice location, close the train station. The hotel was clean and quiet with a very nice staff. Air conditioning in the rooms was really nice considering the heat of the July summer.

The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was authentic Austrian. The hotel is a little out dated but very comfortable.

The breakfast was hearty, which started our days off right. We appreciated the nearby bus transit, made it easy to explore the city. The location is quiet yet just a short walk from the Old Town.

My children wished for a bigger bathroom space.

The hotel is very close to the main station and is at a walking distance from the old city. The location is perfect. The breakfast was also very good. And more important the hotel staff were very friendly and ready to help.

The triple bed room that we stayed in was a little small. With the small child, there was absolutely no room for movement. The toilet did not have any lock on the inside which was a bit uncomfortable.

The hotel stuff was very nice and available.

It's not a 4 stars hotel, not confortable enough, bathroom not clean, not even giving the shampoo....

I enjoyed the convenient location for exploring the city. The breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations, with fresh breads and meats that started my mornings on a good note. I appreciate the chance to walk to the historic sites easily, and the nothing noisy. Staying near the Mirabell Gardens was a highlight for me, as I'm fond of nature and tranquil spots.

Staff were very friendly and obliging. Meals great, all was good.
